Oct 5 – Yom Kippur

This is Yom Kippur, Judaism Day of Atonement and it’s most holy day.  The hotel was serving breakfast but nothing hot.  But it was a very large cold buffet spread.  More than enough to eat.  Everything else is closed.  Manny, our guide, said that even Christian and Muslim businesses usually close for the Sabbath and holy days as they want to retain their Jewish customers.

We spent most of the day working on photos and travel decisions and packing.

Late evening, we headed out into the neighborhood for dinner.  It has been most interesting here in Jerusalem.

Here are a number of photos of street art that we have seen around Jerusalem in the last few days.
